Living in Rome is a bit like being on a modern Grand Tour. We are permanent tourists in the city, going from site to site, deepening our knowledge of the arts from the Antiquity to modern times…We have the luxury of going back ten times to the Sistine Chapel, or visiting the Colosseum when there’s no queue… We can visit places we wouldn’t have time to see if we were tourists for a few days only. We discover places we haven’t even heard about, but we remain tourists, in other words we are just passing by, we do not take roots.
