It is raining again, and it is a real pain! The winter climate in Rome is not very pleasant, it rains every other day, and when we say rain, we mean a strong shower, not a drizzle! Even Emperor Augustus was complaining about the bad climate in winter, blaming it for affecting his health….This aspect of living in Rome hasn’t changed in two thousand years: winters are wet, damp, and cold….the price to pay for the long and warm summer we enjoy here!
